Contingency Plan

Drama With Karma

Possible Issue Action in place
Weather is to be rainy when not supposed to be If the day was supposed to be sunny but it rains instead, the action that could be taken would be to change the day of when the film was meant to be shot and wait for when it is a sunny day. Or instead we would move inside and out of the rain instead and shoot the production inside as an alternative to meet timings.
Actors unable to attend due to personal reasons or illness We could either change the date of the shooting of the film to the following day or move it later on during the day. If not because they are unwell we could have someone fill in for them as their understudy or take their role for the day and rewrite the script so that the audience are to believe it is part of the show.
Location unable to be reached So if the college was to be shut down due to days off college so on a Saturday or Sunday you are able to shoot outside scenes rather than inside and change it in the script.
Unavailable Equipment For example, in our production we are using the facilities in the college, so the green screen room, the drama studio, the computer’s (MAC) if they become unavailable or in use then we are unable to access them. An alternative would be to use a backup laptop where are still able to work.
Equipment becomes damaged If equipment becomes damaged then it would be unable to use we could have a backup for what is being damaged as a replacement.
Script is not done If the scriptwriter has not completed the script she could inform the other people on set to tell them that she is unable to for her given reason and the actors could improvise or there could be someone who knows the plot and can complete the script
